Pioneer education institution in the Maritime and Oil & Gas curriculum in Malaysia is seeking capital investment to build campuses to train more qualified seafarers to service the global trading needs. Equity shares of the education institution is opened to offering. The education programme includes Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) simulator which is used in training sessions for crash landing by a helicopter in water areas.
The world currently lacks safety health officers (SHOs) and the seaborne trade volume is expected to grow with cargo, crude oil loaded tank, etc.. The global demand vs supply gap of seafarers is expected to further widen by 2026. Over 50,000 merchant ships trading internationally and the operation generates an estimated of over half a trillion USD (International Chamber of Shipping, 2020)
